Texas A&M University System Health Science Center - The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center, established in 1999, is

The
Texas A&M University System - The Baylor College of Dentistry became
a member of this system that includes ten universities and eight state

Texas
A&M University - Is the largest university within The Texas
A&M University System, and the third largest in the nation. This
university was established in 1876 as the state’s first public institution of
higher learning; it is also designated as a land-grant/sea-grant/space-grant
institution. It is located in College Station.
Texas A&M University - Commerce - Formerly East Texas State University, this institution merged
with The Texas A&M University System in September of 1996 as did Baylor
College of Dentistry.

Baylor
University -
Was chartered in 1845 by the Republic of Texas, making it the state's
oldest institution of higher learning. Baylor College of Dentistry originated
in Dallas as the State Dental College which was chartered by
the State of Texas in 1905. In 1918 the
dental college became part of Baylor University. In 1971 Baylor College
of Dentistry became the only independent dental college in the nation.
Baylor College of Medicine - Was located in Dallas, along with the College of Dentistry, from its inception in
1900 to its move to Houston in 1943. The College of Medicine was affiliated with Baylor University from 1903 until 1969, at
which time it became an independent institution.
