Virtually every student who attended Baylor College of Dentistry between 1960 and 1992 knows Betty Scott.

Scott, legendary for her dedication to BCD, especially her ability to call students by name, served as registrar for 32 years. She was recognized with honorary memberships in the BCD Alumni Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon and was inducted into the BCD Hall of Fame in 1992.

In 1996, an alum’s generous contribution established the Betty J. Scott Scholarship. The BCD Alumni Association hopes to increase this fund to $250,000 so that it may award an annual scholarship. To contribute, click here (197k Adobe pdf file).
