Calm, courteous, unflappable.
Jeff Lowry, PC help desk technician in information technology services, is characterized by these attributes, which serve him well in a field fraught with raised tempers and blood pressures – especially when an
employee's computer freezes or the system goes down. According to an unnamed faculty member who nominated him for Staff Employee of the 4th Quarter for 2003, Lowry sticks with a problem until it is
resolved, even if it means staying late.
Lowry, a BCD employee for three years, received the award Jan. 26. He and his wife, Susan, have been married three years. They have two cats, Blue and Grey.
