academy's purpose is to achieve, by mutual study and cooperation, activities reflecting a high and ethical standard of practice as well as teaching and
research in the art and science of fixed prosthodontics.
Goodman's goal is to encourage continued excellence in the philosophy and practice of the discipline. "What a privilege!" he said. "I am honored to
have this opportunity to serve the academy and to work with those whom I respect."
A BCD faculty member for more than 20 years, Goodman also has a private practice in Arlington, Texas. An AAFP member since
1977, he has served the organization through various committees, on its board of directors and as vice president.
